Impact Sales Training Limited takes the privacy of its customers and workers very seriously and will only record and use personal information to maintain workers’ records, administer payroll, maintain customer accounts and in the course of providing our training services to customers.  This policy explains when and why we collect personal information about our customers and workers, how we use it, share it and how we keep it secure.

Customers:

Our customers’ names, addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses will be collected and stored for the purpose of contacting our customers to arrange training, following a request to do so by the customer.  The personal information is obtained directly from the customer, from an e-mail direct from the customer to the Impact Sales Training e-mail account or from a website contact form completed by the customer.  

​Customers’ names, addresses and/or e-mail addresses will also be used to send paper or electronic invoices direct to customers and to maintain our customers’ accounts.  The personal data, stored electronically in our customers’ accounts, is only accessed by Senior Management and their Personal Assistant and Accountant.  All personal data is securely stored at the office of Impact Sales Training, to protect against unauthorised access, disclosure or destruction, until a time when it is no longer required, when it will be safely removed or destroyed, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We do not share customers’ personal data with any external parties.  From time to time we may contact customers directly by e-mail, post or SMS with information about our training products.  Such direct marketing will only be carried out in accordance with our customers’ agreed marketing preferences. 

Customers’ details are held for 2 years after their last contact with us.

Our customers have the right to request a copy of the electronic and paper records we hold on file.  Such requests must be made in writing to Mr Andrew Whiteley (Director) at the address above and Impact Sales Training Limited will respond in writing within one month of receiving the request.  Our customers also have the right to have their personal data removed from our records in certain circumstances as laid out by the ICO. 

 

Workers:

Impact Sales Training Limited’s workers’ names, addresses, NI numbers, UTR numbers, bank details and contact details will be collected and stored for the duration of their work and a further 5 years after ceasing to work for Impact Sales Training Limited, to comply with HMRC requirements.   All paper and electronic data will be held securely within the office of Impact Sales Training Limited and will be used to process payroll and to maintain workers’ records.

​As part of the payroll process, Impact Sales Training Limited is required to share workers’ personal details with HMRC via their secure website.  Workers’ bank details are also held securely on our banking software.

​We only share workers’ personal data with our Accountant as part of the payroll process.

​Our workers have the right to request a copy of the electronic and paper records we hold on file.  Such requests must be made in writing to Mr Andrew Whiteley and Impact Sales Training Limited will respond in writing within one month of receiving the request.
